Term of Agreement: The initial term is five (5) years, with an option to extend for one (1) additional five-year term and up to six (6) additional months on a month-to-month basis. Objective: BCNET is issuing this RFP on behalf of its members to secure EMRO. The RFP aims to identify a qualified Proponent: To provide and have capability and experience to supply a wide range of quality EMRO efficiently and cost-effectively; To lower acquisition and administrative costs through efficient and streamlined transaction processes; To leverage aggregate spend to lower and contain unit costs;. To provide Members with knowledgeable and responsive customer support and account management; To work in a cooperative manner with Members, be responsive and innovative in supply of EMRO; To support sustainability by providing Members with environmentally friendly alternatives.. The intention of the RFP is to select a qualified Proponent for the BCNET Members during the term of the Master Agreement for the provision of the EMRO. In addition, to identify a qualified Proponent with strong presence, reputation, and established distribution network at each of the four (4) geographical locations in British Columbia. This RFP is open to the Proponents who have demonstrated experience and expertise in the EMRO. Additionally, have capabilities to offer Members services that can be customized to meet the unique needs of each Member. The selected Proponent is expected to work closely with BCNET and its Members to set and manage the product and service standards.
