The Penn Trafford School District is requesting bids to be made and will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder(s) all as more thoroughly described in the Contract Documents. A certified check, bid bond or a combination of both totaling an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Base Bid PLUS any Add Alternates and made payable to the Penn Trafford School District, must accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and/or to waive any informality, infirmity, omission, defect, irregularity and/or disqualifying error in any bid. The District anticipates awarding Contracts within forty-five (45) days of the bid opening. No bona fide bids shall be altered or withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening. All bids shall be clearly marked with contractor's name and Contract number and name.
