Question Deadline 07/08/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Questions Due Date Online Portal Deadline to submit Questions This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act as amended and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. This project is also subject to Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a bond guaranteeing performance of the contract in the amount of 100% of the value of the contract. A certified check or bid bond for the amount of 10% of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Letters of credit will not be accepted. Caln Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any immaterial defect or informality in the bids. Scope- Remove approximately 2,600 SF of existing asphalt shingle and cedar shake roofing materials, as well as roof plank sheathing. Remove and replace deteriorated rafters. Install new plywood roof sheathing and Manufactured Steel Roof Panel system .and appurtenances. Anchor porch roof structure to existing stone masonry building. ADD-ALTERNATE 1 includes removal and replacement of porch flooring and floor joints for approximately 340 SF porch. ADD-ALTERNATE 2 includes contingent repairs to porch foundations.
