Final Date for Receipt of Questions: July 3, 2024 The purpose of asking questions during the site visit is to obtain clarification to the enclosed Project Scope. In the event that modifications are needed to the Project Scope, the modifications will be distributed by the FLDDSO Business Office to all contractors. Contractors are to prepare and submit their quotes based on the written Project Scope and any modifications made in writing. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 40 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of (final driveway sealing), before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. Scope of Work Includes, but is Not Necessarily Limited to the Following: 1. Prepare Driveway & Parking Area Surface by Means of Sweeping, Blowing, and/or Washing. Prepare Surface Per Sealant Manufacturer's Specifications. 2. Fill in All Cracks With a Quality Crack and Grove Filler. Allow to Setup/cure Per Manufacturer's Instructions. 3. Apply a Quality Sealant to Prepared Surface Per Manufacturer's Instructions. Apply Evenly and Abundantly. 4. Follow All Nys Ogs Specifications on Asphalt Maintenance and Sealing
