Archer Rd Cold Storage and the New DPW Cold Storage Building The Work Consists of the Construction of: Constructing a New 3,200 Square Foot Post Frame Addition to an Existing 5,200 Square Foot Cold Storage Building Including Renovation of the Existing Building. Located at 177 Archer Rd, Rochester, New York 14624. And Constructing a New 4,800 Square Foot Post Frame Cold Storage Building at the Existing Town of Chili Highway Garage / DPW Facility Located at 200 Beaver Road, Rochester, New York 14624. Proposed Start of Construction: September 3rd, 2024. Questions Due by: July 15th, 2024. Responses Will Be Provided by: July 18th, 2024. See Summary of Work 010111 for Each Building. The Foregoing is a General Outline of Work Only and Shall Not Be Construed as a Complete Description of the Work to Be Performed Under the Contract. Proposals Must Be Made in Writing on the Forms Furnished and Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Guaranty for an Amount Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of the Bid in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders, as Well as a Signed Copy of the Non-collusive Bidding Certificate Included in the Proposal. The Town of Chili is Exempt Under Section 1116 of the Tax Law and, Therefore, No Sales Tax Shall Be Included in the Bid. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish and Pay for Satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. The Town of Chili Reserves the Right to Consider Bids for Forty-five (45) Days After the Receipt Before Awarding Any Contract. The Town of Chili Further Reserves the Night to Reject Any and All Bids, or to Waive Any Informalities, or to Make an Award to Other Than the the Low Bidder, or to Limit the Amount of the Award if It is in the Best Interest of the Town of Chili. A Full Refund of Deposit for Up to Two (2) Copies of the Bidding Documents Will Be Made to Those : Submitting a Bona Fide Bid, if the Documents Are Returned in Good Condition Within Thirty (30) Days After Award of the Contract or Rejection of the Bid. A Refund of 50% of the Deposit for One (1) Copy of the Bidding Documents Will Be Made for the Return of All Other Bidding Documents in Good Condition Within Thirty (30) Days of Award of the Contract or Rejection of the Bid.
