Reference Number 0000365136 It is the intention of the City of Rochester to enter into a contract with a competent and responsive contractor for snowplowing, de-icing and removing snow from parking lots used by the Rochester Police Department (RPD). The contractor must supply at least one (1) well-maintained Pick-up Truck (4x4) and De-Ice Spreader Plow with Operator. A rubber edge blade is required. All equipment intended for use under this contract will be subject to passing a City-administered inspection. In consideration of the need to reserve equipment to meet the needs of this contract, the City will guarantee a minimum payment of $1,000 to the contractor for services provided under this contract if the contractor fully performs the services of this contract to the satisfaction of the City. FOR THIS BID, the successful bidders must provide: the driver's license and driver's cell number; certificate of insurance and insurance endorsements; New York vehicle registration; equipment information; and vehicle storage information as specified herein to the Director of Purchasing within five (5) days of Notification of Award. Upon approval of required documents, the City shall authorize the successful bidders to participate in a vehicle inspection. Contractor vehicle(s) must pass a City-administered inspection.
