Teton County is seeking a Contractor to process/bale, remove and recycle stockpiled scrap metal at the Teton County Trash Transfer Station. There are approximately 400 to 500 net tons of scrap metal at the transfer station. The facility is located approximately six miles south of the Town of Jackson, Wyoming at the County's Horsethief Canyon Trash Transfer Station site. The proposed price shall include processing, hauling, and post-processing cleanup of the site with a magnet and be provided in net tons. The owner also has approximately 12 net tons of tin can bundles (TCBs), 2 net ton of aluminum foil bales and approximately 3,000 pounds of lead acid batteries for pickup and recycling located at the Recycling Center at 3270 S. Adams Canyon Road, Jackson, WY. TCBs, aluminum foil bales, and batteries will be ready for pickup after August 20, 2024, and must be picked up within 30 days of the bid award. Please provide a "picked up" price in net tons for TCBs, aluminum foil bales, and pounds for batteries. Scrap metal clean-up must commence within 14 days of contract approval (August 20, 2024) and be completed within 21 working days of beginning the cleanup
