This road will remain closed during construction The beginning of the project is located on the Divide Ranger District of the Rio Grande National Forest. It is approximately 25 miles west and then south of the intersection of Hermosa Road and Highway 160, in proximity to Del Norte Peak. To access the project site from the Rio Grande National Forest Supervisor's Office, travel north on Hermosa road for .29 miles to highway 160, turn west onto highway 160. Continue straight on highway 160, 14.1 miles to Forest Service road 345 then turn left. Travel 4.49 miles to Forest Service road 340 then turn left. Follow this road for approximately 6.91 miles and the beginning of the new Forest Service road (340.1L),
