Reference Number 0000386323 August 12, 2025 City Council Award contract Bid Intent Not Available The City of Santa Clarita (CITY) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications seeking firms for the Design and Construction of the Needham Ranch Oil Wells Plug and Abandonment project. The scope of work will consist of the preparation of work plans, specifications, estimates, plugging and abandonment of the idle wells in accordance with CalGem regulations. Well Plugging and Abandonment and Related Remediation The Contractor must plug and abandon the wells listed in Exhibit A, and all wells CalGem identifies and the Parties agree upon pursuant to future amendments or change orders, in accordance with all applicable well plug and abandonment requirements. The Contractor must competently provide all engineering and design work necessary to comply with the requirements of the Agreement. The Contractor must coordinate with Cal Gem during construction to complete, submit and schedule all necessary documentation requirements. Some sites may require additional remedial measures such as site surveillance and hazard monitoring. Contractor must provide such additional services as may be specified in any amendment change orders. The project's expected cost range is $2,500,000.
