Bids will be received for performing the work as follows: Construction of approximately 9,600 linear feet of twelve (12)-inch diameter ductile iron pipeline, three (3) master meters, and an onsite pump station at the LARC Ranch to consolidate two small community water systems; Lily of the Valley Mobile Village, and LARC Ranch. An alternative work scope is to construct approximately 9,600 linear feet of 8-inch diameter ductile iron pipeline The project is located along Bouquet Canyon Road from Shadow Valley Lane to its termination point at the LARC Ranch property located at 29890 North Bouquet Canyon Road, Saugus, CA 91390. Two four (4)-inch master meters will be installed in front of the Lily of the Valley Mobile Village located at 29021 Bouquet Canyon Road, Santa Clarita, CA 91390. One four (4)-inch master meter will be installed in front of the LARC Ranch at 29890 North Bouquet Canyon Road, Saugus, CA 91390. The project also includes additive bid items to install up to fifteen (15) one-inch residential meters and up to three (3) two-inch residential meters along the pipeline route. The project includes an additive bid item for compliance with Buy America, Build America Act requirements. Construct metered connections for both LARC and LOV. For LARC's connection, the Recipient shall construct a new 2-inch meter and on-site pump station. The on-site pump station will be owned, operated, and maintained by LARC. To connect LOV, the Recipient shall construct two new 4-inch meter connections, associated piping and appurtenances. The Project includes connection fees for new water service and related soft costs for pre-construction and construction.
