Lay flagstone to respective of patterns, as indicated in drawings. Joints between stone: 15-25 mm wide, filled with limestone crusher fines. Use appropriate end, edge and corner stones. Saw cut stone to fit around obstructions and at abutting structures. Inspect, remove, and replace chipped, broken, and damaged stone. Do not use flagstone pieces that are less than 125mm dia. or 1/3 size of full-size flagstone piece, whichever is greater. Small filler pieces will be rejected and replaced with larger stone where required. Sweep dry joint sand material into joints. Settle sand by vibrating stone with plate compactor. Each Bid Submission must include security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total Base Bid Price.
