The City of Arlington is seeking proposals from janitorial contractors to provide janitorial services for various city owned facilities. Services are currently needed for the following facilities: 1.City Hall building - 238 N Olympic Ave
2.Police Station/Council Chambers building - 110 E Third St
3.Public Works Administration building - 154 W Cox Ave
4.Public Works Water and Waste Water Plant offices - 108 W Haller Ave
5.Cemetery office - 20310 67th Ave NE The City of Arlington ("City") is seeking proposals for custodial services for select City facilities located in the City of Arlington as specified in Exhibit A, attached. The Scope of Services as specified in Exhibit B, attached, is intended only to illustrate the services likely needed. Final work plan will be mutually agreed in terms of scope of work, fee proposal and availability of budgeted funds. Owner Rights: The City reserves the right to award the contract to the Proposer that it deems to offer the best overall proposal in its sole discretion. The City is therefore not bound to accept a proposal on basis of lowest price, and further, the City has the sole discretion and reserves the right to cancel this RFP and to reject any and all proposals, to waive any and all informalities and or irregularities, or to re-advertise with either the identical or revised specifications, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City of Arlington reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or accept any presented which meet or exceed these specifications, and which would be in the best interest of the City. The City is not bound to accept the lowest Proposal. TERM :The term of the Contract shall be for a period of one year from its effective date with provisions for up to four (4) possible one-year renewals for a total possible life of five terms upon the same terms and conditions, except as may be modified by written agreement to the contract.
