Reference Number 0000272757 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/06/28 05:00:00 PM EDT Bid Intent Deadline 2024/06/25 05:00:00 PM EDT The scope of work described herein is to provide inspection, sampling, testing, QVE, QA, reporting, and verification services for Ontario Place Early Works (Phase 2) of the Ontario Place Site Services Project. All work must be in accordance with the Contract Documents, Prime Contract, this scope of work, applicable Codes, industry standards, local municipality requirements and any / all Authorities Having Jurisdiction. Work included in this Subcontract shall include provisions for all labour, travel, materials, products, tools, equipment, insurance, taxes, licenses, permits, safety equipment, general requirements, competent supervision, office management, overhead and profit, and all else necessary for the required proper execution of the work. Work includes but is not limited to the following: General This scope of work covers the Ontario Place Early Works (Phase 2) of the entire Ontario Place Site Services Project. Provide a daily field report to the Construction Manager of testing completed and results. Provide a typed summary weekly or as required by The Construction Manager. The Subcontractor shall provide Daily Site Reports and submit a copy to the Construction Manager following each visit. The Daily Site Report shall include information which includes but is not limited to: Project Name. Date. Report Number. Name(s) of tester/inspection. Work hours. Arrival time to site and departure time from site. Governing codes and specifications used for the inspection and or testing. Site observation list and comments (non-compliant work, etc.); Details of consumables and equipment. Equipment type and serial number used for the inspection and or testing. Conformance status of the work inspected or tested. Observations on other Subcontractors' performance versus their approved Quality plan. Equipment reading and temperature records; and, Location of inspection and item number. All daily site reports shall be confirmed by the Construction Manager's supervisor. All daily site reports shall be confirmed by the Construction Manager's supervisor for all night and weekend. All testing, inspection, sampling, QVE, QA and reporting must be as per the Contract Documents, Quality Management Plan, Inspection and Testing Plans, Subcontract Documents, drawings, specifications, OPSS, OPSD, CSA, ASTM, CHBDC, OBC, City of Toronto Specifications, TRCA, HRCA, and all of specifications applicable to this project including from all authorities having jurisdiction. Inspection, sampling, testing, and verification included in this scope are based on the IFC drawings and specifications. All testing performed must satisfy provincial and regional standards and contract requirements identified in the drawings and specifications. The Subcontractor is to provide pick up/delivery of materials as necessary to complete work. This will require travelling to off-site locations, all expenses related to this shall be covered by the Subcontractor. It is understood that this work shall also be done during nights, weekends, and off regular-hours due to the nature of this project. The Subcontractor shall include all of this work. The Subcontractor shall adhere to Schedule G - The Construction Manager's Quality Management Plan, and The Construction Manager's Quality Management System which ensures the quality of workmanship and materials used meet project requirements. The subcontractor shall include both onsite and offsite testing (strength and material testing) by an independent testing company, to demonstrate material compliance and mix compliance for all items as required in subcontractor's scope.
