For asphalt resurfacing and patching of various city streets. for furnishing all labor materials, and performing all work connected with the following projects: The overlay of various city streets per ton; and patching as needed per square yard. The bid shall also include a price for milling per square yard and gravel shoulders per ton. All materials must be new and meet or exceed TDOT specifications. Bid must be guaranteed for fiscal year 2024/2025 (through June 30, 2025). All bidders must be properly licensed with the State of Tennessee. To demonstrate qualifications to perform the work, each bidder must submit a completed Contractor Qualification Statement with bid. The apparent successful bidder must provide the financial state portion of the qualification statement within 48 hours following bid opening. The City of Waverly may make any investigation deemed necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform any work. Bidder shall furnish all such information for this purpose that the City of Waverly may request. Successful bidder must also provide a certificate of insurance including general liability and workman's compensation and employers liability. A copy of the Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace affidavit must also be included with bid. For further information and specifications, contact Corey Burkett, Supt. Public Works, (931)296-2101. The City of Waverly reserve the right to reject any and all bids. The City of Waverly also reserves the right to reject any bid if evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy the city that such bidder is qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work as specified herein.
