The City of Manassas Park and the Manassas Park City Schools invites bids for the provision of mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, weed control, and landscaping services for City owned green spaces including but not limited to well lots, street medians, building grounds, and school grounds throughout the City. Bids must be in accordance with the Instructions to Contractors and the Scope of Services and must include a Contractor's Bid Form Mowing, Landscaping, Tree Trimming, and Lawn Services (the "Bid Form") completed by each Contractor Provision of Mowing, Landscaping, Tree Trimming, and Lawn Care Services Sealed bids for the provision of services for the maintenance of City owned green spaces including but not limited to well lots, street medians, building grounds, and school grounds are invited and will be received by the City of Manassas Park (the "City"). Services, as directed by the Engineering Services Manager or his/her designee, shall include mowing, edging, landscaping, tree trimming, and weed control for the City. The City has determined that the winning bid will be selected based on the best value from responsive, responsible bidders and that competitive sealed bidding is therefore practicable. Bids received will be compared on the basis of cost from qualified bidders. Only written questions regarding this IFB will be answered. The deadline for questions is 5:00 PM on Friday, June 28, 2024. The term of the contract to be awarded pursuant to this IFB will initially be one full year (August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025) with the option for four (4) renewal terms of one (1) year each. Owner Rights: The City reserves the right to cancel this IFB, reject any and all bids, waive informalities in any bid and make an award of the contract for services in any manner consistent with law deemed in the best interests of the City.
