2024 Sealcoat Project. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. Estimate: $265,000.00. Scope The project consists of approximately 59,016 square yards (SY) of sealcoat paving to be constructed in Slaton, Texas, in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work includes sweeping, cleaning of gutters and all preparation work necessary for a complete sealcoat project. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work.
