HVAC Labor Services Scope: As-needed HVAC repairs refer to any scheduled repairs with the HVAC system that require attention to restore functionality. These repairs are typical when the workload has become very large, and additional manpower is needed. Emergency HVAC repairs refer to any sudden, unexpected issue with the HVAC system that requires immediate attention to restore functionality and prevent further damage. On-call emergency repairs refer to any sudden, unexpected issue with the HVAC system that requires immediate attention after normal working hours to restore functionality and prevent further damage. The successful Contractor is expected to provide all personnel, materials, and equipment, and perform all scope of work items, as indicated hereafter. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor for all labor, supervision, equipment, instrumentation, tools, and materials necessary to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, or replace any component of any HVAC equipment. All work must be performed in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and codes. The Contractor will be responsible for obtaining any necessary permits. Work Periods: A WORK SCHEDULE WILL BE PROVIDED. THESE DATES WILL BE FIRM. WORK MUST BE COMPLETED BY THE DATES STATED. Contractor to provide all labor, tools, materials, stated. The contractor shall be paid only for work performed. A daily sign in sheet will be required. All work shall be reviewed by the supervisor ofthe contractor providing the services. Upon their review and inspection, if the work is approved by that supervisor, then the supervisor will contact GSU representative and advise the work is complete. GSU representative will review the work and advise if the services are satisfactory. The University reserves the right to award, to award the Bid, or not to award the Bid. INQUIRY PROCESS: Contractors shall direct all inquiries, requests for information, requests for clarification, etc. in writing to the Grambling State University Purchasing Department. Inquiries may be emailed to Erin Walker at walkere@gram.edu. Bid Bonds: If a bid bond is required, a bid bond must be submitted for each separate bid response. The bid bond shall be in an amount equal to 5% of the bid price submitted and alternates, if any. The bid security shall be in a form of a bid bond or certified check, or cashier's check.
