Football Locker Room Renovation and Locker Upgrade: Renovation and upgrade of (105) football lockers at Grambling State University This project includes the removal of existing lockers and the installation of new, customized football lockers designed to meet modern athletic standards. The scope of work is detailed below. Scope of Work The work required under this specification includes the design, manufacturing, and delivery, as well as the removal and disposal of existing lockers. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the work. o Demo existing lockers. o Demo existing flooring. o Provide and install 6mm rolled rubberized flooring. o Build phenolic lockers with dimensions and features listed below. o Install phenolic lockers. o Discard/dispose of all debris. Coordinate with GSU Athletics and GSU Facilities for any salvageable materials. o Clean the space after renovation. Alternate Additional Features o Power and USB Outlets: Optional installation of power and USB outlets within each locker. o Provide/extend electrical circuit to accommodate electrical needs at each locker. o Provide and install power and USB outlets at each locker. Installation of New Lockers The contractor shall install the new lockers as per the layout approved by the Owner during the walkthrough. The installation must include anchoring and leveling to ensure stability and uniformity. Materials and Workmanship All materials shall be new and of the highest quality, complying with industry standards. The workmanship shall be first class, ensuring the lockers are installed securely, level, and without any visible damage. Project Schedule The work must begin no later than December 2, 2024, and be completed by February 28, 2025. The contractor must submit a detailed project schedule with the bid.
