Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Grambling, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Parts-Only Installation for Water Well #7: The objective of this project is to install specific components necessary for the efficient functioning of the water well system at Water Well #7 on campus. This scope focuses solely on the installation of parts, excluding the complete installation of the 6 T&C schedule 40 pipe. Currently, the water well is out of operation, necessitating prompt attention to restore its functionality. Scope of Work: The work will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks Pump: Installation of Franklin-Model # 8C3F-8 Encapsulated Moter-100HP/75 KW, 50/60 Hz, 380-415/ 460 VAC, 3-Phase Piping: Installation of 570 of 6 T&C Schedule 40 piping and fittings to connect the pump to the pressure tank and water distribution system. Electrical Components: Installation of wiring and electrical connections 575' of #00-gauge wire required for pump operation. Control Panel: Installation of the control panel to regulate the pump's operation. Valves and Fittings: Installation of necessary valves and fittings for proper operation of the water system. Bid Bonds: Are required on ALL Bid and/or Public Works Project over $25,000, a bid bond must be submitted for each separate bid response. The bid bond shall be in an amount equal to 5% ofthe bid price submitted and alternates, if any. The bid security shall be in a form of a bid bond or certified check, or cashier's check. The Contractor is required to record the Contract with the Clerk of Court in Lincoln Parish and must provide the Purchasing Department with proof of filing. Additionally, a Performance Bond will be required at the time of the award of the contract. The University reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities.
