Reference Number 0000272958 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/07/17 11:59:00 PM EDT The initial term of the Agreement shall be for thirty-six (36) months, with four (4) optional twelve (12) month extensions. All prices shall be net, firm and not negotiable for the initial thirty-six (36) months. Should York choose to exercise its option to extend subsequent to the initial term, any extension to the Agreement shall be upon the same terms and conditions, except for price, which shall be agreed in writing by the parties and shall not exceed the Consumer Price Index - Toronto. Discount structure proposed shall be net, firm and not negotiable for the entire term, inclusive of any optional extensions. Based on historical spending inclusive of all categories/subcategories and an average of twelve (12) furniture VORs, estimated average annual purchases are $2 million CAD per year. This covers an estimated average of one hundred and fifty (150) Service Requests annually. The spread over the VOR's is not even and not guaranteed; rather orders are placed on an as-required basis only. Selection of a VOR for each project is up to the discretion of York and depends on various factors (such as pricing, awarded category/subcategory, current project requirements, matching of any existing furniture if applicable, etc.) Any volumes provided are for RFP estimate purposes only, based on historical data, and not guaranteed. With current budgetary pressures, York expects a slight reduction in volumes. Proposals shall not be qualified or limited by minimum or maximum quantities of good(s)/service(s) ordered. The Selected Proponent(s) shall provide various products and services, as specified within this RFP, to serve a variety of campus applications, including but not limited to: Private Offices Open Concept/Hotelling Workspaces Lounge, Social and Common Spaces Study Spaces (Private and Collaborative) Typical and Active Learning Classrooms Seminar Rooms Meeting/Conference Rooms Computer Labs Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
