.1On Roof Area 1.1: Remove Existing Roof System Components, Projection and Perimeter Flashings, and Old Appurtenances Down to Existing Roof Deck in Preparation for Installation of a New Mod. Bit. Inverted Roof System. Replacement Work to Be in Accordance With Section 07 52 11. .1remove Existing Roof System Components Down to Expose Existing Bur Membrane Deck Surface and Dispose of Debris to an Appropriate Site. 2relocate or Temporarily Remove Existing Stone Ballast and Concrete Pavers as Required to Facilitate New Membrane Installation and Store for Re-use in New Roof Assembly. .1do Not Structurally Overload Roof by Placing Stone Ballast in Large Piles and Concrete Pavers in Tall Stacks. Ensure Ballast Weight is Adequately Distributed Across Roof at All Times, or Temporarily Remove Ballast From Roof and Store at Ground Level Staging Area. .3remove and Discard Broken, Damaged, or Cracked Concrete Pavers. Power Scrape Existing Roof Membrane to Remove Top Pour and Any Pieces of Extruded Polystyrene Insulation Embedded Within the Asphalt. 4power Vacuum Existing Membrane to Remove Loose Debris. .1where Existing Concrete Deck is Exposed, Review Surface of Deck for Damage and Deterioration That May Impact New Roof System Installation. Repair Concrete Decking With Quick Dry Mortar Mix as Required. .5install New Wood Blocking and Plywood at Perimeters and Curbs as Required. .1prime All Exposed Wood, Concrete, Gypsum Board, and Metal Surfaces Where Required to Receive New Membrane and Flashings. 6install a Layer of 13mm (0.5") Siliconized Gypsum Roof Board Across Substrate in Ribbons of Foamble Polyurethane Roofing Adhesive. The term of the Final Agreement is approximately twelve (12) months or the completion of the project, whichever is longer, followed by the warranty period. The substantial completion of the project is expected to be on or before December 2024. A Labour and Material Payment Bond in an Amount Equal to Not Less Than 50% of the Contract Price, Including All Applicable Taxes; and A Performance Bond in an Amount Equal to Not Less Than 50% of the Contract Price, Including All Applicable Taxes.
