Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Anacortes, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Project generally involves furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the completion of the Bartholomew Pavement Improvements in Anacortes, Washington as detailed in the project drawings and specifications. The Project generally consists of, but is not limited to: implementation of temporary site controls, traffic/pedestrian controls, environmental/water quality controls, temporary erosion and sediment controls, and water pollution prevention; protect in-place or demolish, temporarily relocate and restore any encountered existing underground utilities to complete site excavation activities; remove and dispose existing paved surfaces within excavation area; import, place, and compact backfill material within excavation; restore site features including asphalt paving and demolished utilities; complete postconstruction surveying using a professional land surveyor registered in the State of Washington to record final as-built conditions; and other construction work and appurtenances as more fully defined in the Contract Documents. The Project will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The Port of Anacortes reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without liability therefore, to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding process, or to re-bid the Project. All questions regarding the Project must be submitted by email to the Ports Project Manager - Jenkins Dossen, jenkins.dossen@portofanacortes.com with the subject line referencing Bid Inquiry - Bartholomew Pavement Improvements Project. This project is being completed, in part, with economic development funds awarded by the Skagit County Board of Commissioners through its Economic Development Public Facility grant program. The Work as contemplated in the Contract Documents includes all labor, materials (except materials provided by the Port, if any), transportation, equipment, and services necessary for, and reasonably incidental to, the completion of the Work described in the Contract Documents, which consist of all documents identified in the preceding Table of Contents and all addenda issued by the Port prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. All Work shall be performed in a quality, workmanlike fashion, shall meet all stated quality standards, and shall be subject to approval and acceptance by the Port. 2.01.1 The quantities shown in the bid forms and the Contract Documents are estimates and are stated only for bid comparison purposes. The Port does not warrant expressly or by implication that the actual quantities of work will correspond with those estimates. Payment will be made on the basis of the actual quantities of each item of work completed in accordance with the Contract requirements. All questions regarding the project Specifications or Scope of Work are to be submitted by email to the Port's Project Manager, Jenkins Dossen, jenkins.dossen@portofanacortes.com with the subject line referencing "Bid Inquiry - Bartholomew Pavement Improvements Project".
