The anticipated scope of work for the project includes the following: Pull HTHW heating bundle and clean and descale Electric USG and replace. Remove and replace McDonnell-Miller Level controller with new. Install new 15# safety relief valves on steam header for 6100 #/hr steam flow with vent relief pipe connected to common vent manifold near existing Pneumatic USG. Install new pressure transducer on boiler connected to boiler controls. Check with Federal Pump or Allied if a new vertical Condensate Storage Tank and Pump set is available for winter heating season. If available, then replace the existing CST set with space constraint requirements for upgrade with hot water converters. If existing CST is utilized, reconnect and rewire Electric USG level controls in CST control panel. Replace Electric USG feedwater supply pipe run from CST to full Electric USG connection size. Replace clamped Condensate return pipe near air compressor from room penetration to CST connection. Provide Reco factory authorized service representative for commissioning and startup of Electric USG in cooperation with CCNY Plant Engineering. Upon project completion leave jobsite clear of any material and waste and leave broom swept. The estimated construction cost range is $150 to $250 Thousand.
