The extended proposal due date is 08/02/2024 at 0900 AM PDT. -END- PROJECT: Hume Lake SCADA Installation Sequoia National Forest, California Total Small Business Set-Aside IAW FAR 36.204 Disclosure of Magnitude of the Construction Project: Between $25,000 and $100,000 Important Notes: Refer to complete continuation pages for bid schedule, scope, specifications, exhibits, and all other information and terms. Section B.2, page 6, provides notes on the bid schedule and bid submission. Section L, Paragraph L.2, page 38, has information regarding documents to submit with your proposal. All Requests for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist via email to Tanya.Torres@usda.gov, on the attached RFI form, no later than 12 July 2024, 11:00 AM hours PDT. A FS organized pre-proposal site visit will NOT be held. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. The dam outlet works is currently operated manually via controls housed in a generator building approximately 350 feet away through wiring contained in a conduit. The conduit runs from the valves on the outlet works on the downstream side of Bay 6 through the dam, along the upstream dam toe into the generator building. A pressure transducer is positioned in the reservoir to monitor pool levels via a satellite terminal. The generator building is accessible by road. The outlet works is accessible by foot on a trail along the downstream dam toe. The work entails the design and installation of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to allow the control and adjustment of the outlet valves from remote locations using a secure connection. Site drawings have been included which detail the general location, configuration, and composition of the current monitoring and control system. The work also includes a speaker warning system and an optional camera that will be used to monitor valve operation. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
