The City of Charlotte, North Carolina is soliciting bids from qualified solar PV providers to design, engineer and build turn-key installations of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at the site addresses below which collectively represent approximately 45 kW DC of total solar capacity. Respondents shall have demonstrated experience designing, planning, scheduling, permitting and constructing complete solar PV systems, have knowledge of local utilities, provide project financial analysis and provide system monitoring. The two locations for the project are: oCFD Firehouse 18, 2337 Dr. Webber Ave. oCFD Firehouse 33, 2001 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Rd. THIS IS A RESTRICTED DATA PROJECT. In order to get access to the plans and specifications, contractors will need to download the Restricted Data Agreement Form. It will need to be signed by an authorized person with the company and emailed to Donna Johnson at donna.johnson@charlottenc.gov. Once received and approved the requestor will be given access to the project information via OneDrive. A 5% bid security is required with each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000.
