The work includes, but is not limited to, the replacing of 7 manhole frames and covers, The replacement of one manhole drop pipe, the repair of one manhole drop pipe, the lining of 7 sewer manhole walls, the patching of 65 manholes, the lining and sealing of 56 sewer manhole chimneys, the grouting and testing of 56 sewer manhole seals, mechanical root removal in 3 sewer manholes, and the cleaning of 91 sewer manholes. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. It is the Bidder's responsibility to check the designated website for addenda. The successful bidder and their subcontractors are required to comply with the provisions of the Qvil Rights Act of 1964, the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972, the Governor's Executive Orders 3 and 17, and, if applicable, the Connecticut Fair Employment Practice Law. This project is subject to the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO) requirements including the Set-Aside requirements (25% of contract value) in accordance with CGS Sec 4a-60g. For all contract requirements regarding funding agency notifications, funding agency requirements, bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
