Renovation of an educational facility in Eugene, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The University of Oregon, Design and Construction office, a department within Campus Planning and Facilities Management, is soliciting Proposals for CM/GC Services associated with the following: Project Name: Friendly Hall Deferred Maintenance Project Project Description: The Friendly Hall Deferred Maintenance and Renovation Project will fully renovate the existing building footprint. The unreinforced masonry and rubble foundation will be seismically strengthened to current structural standards. New MEP equipment, systems, utilities and routing through the building will be provided in conformance with design standards and to support programmatic requirements. Unique to this project is transforming, through excavation, the east wing crawl space into a fully occupiable, cohesive and functional full height basement. Further excavation to the west wing basement will also be required. The total Project budget is $82.2M. The Project is funded by state bonds and UO funds. The anticipated GMP range for the project is between $51M and $56M.
