Renovation of a municipal facility in East Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of September 19, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Security and Office Improvements for DeWitt Town Hall Project (the Project) will upgrade the public portion of the lobby within DeWitt Town Hall to a modern aesthetic. The work covered by this contact is included in the contract documents but in general includes demolition of the existing spaces including the removal of existing walls, removal of existing bulkheads, removal of existing doors, frames, and windows, removal of existing floor finishes, and removal of the existing ceiling tiles and grid system. New construction will include, but is not limited to, new countertops and cabinetry, new doors and windows, new interior finishes, new glass partitions and walls, limited improvements to offices and hallways, and a new employee breakroom. This contract is for General/Architectural work only. All Mechanical/Electrical/ Plumbing (MEP) work will be performed under existing mechanical and electrical contracts with the Town. The contractor is responsible for coordinating work activities with the mechanical and electrical contractors. Any questions regarding this Project shall be directed to the Engineer in writing at dougmiller@millerengineers.com. Each Bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids. Document Note: Payment via credit card and charging to an Avalon Account will also be allowed for this bid. Bidding Documents may be picked up at Avalon Document Services, anytime Monday through Friday, when you place an order a pick-up time will be given to you (sets are not preprinted, an order must first be placed) or be delivered via UPS or FedEx upon request to Avalon Document Services. Plans may be shipped to the bidder upon receipt of an additional non-refundable freight charge of $100.00 payable to Avalon Document Services by separate check or credit card payment. Bidder has the option to provide Avalon Document Services with Bidders UPS or FedEx shipping account number to expedite the delivery of the documents. Each plan holder of record will be notified by an e-mail regarding each addenda issued for the project. Emails will be from Avalon Document Services "ReproConnect." It is the responsibility of each prospective bidder to submit an accurate e-mail address when requesting Bidding Documents. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A.
