Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Port Carbon, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.
The project involves ADA curb cut ramps, pavement base repair, drainage improvement and other associated roadway work. The particular items of work for the contract are identified more specifically in the Bid Form, Contract Specifications and Contract Documents. The entire project will be awarded to one (1) Contractor. A Certified Check or Bank Draft, Payable to the Order of the County of Schuylkill or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder Naming the County of Schuylkill as Oblige and Acceptable Surety in the Amount of 10 Percent of the Total Bid Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish and Pay for Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, Each in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price With a Corporate Surety Approved by the Owner. No Bid Will Be Considered Unless It is Accompanied by the Required Guaranty. Money Orders and Personal Money Orders Are Not Acceptable Forms of Bid Security. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all items or portions thereof or to waive any technicalities and informalities in the bid for the best interest of the Owner.
