Question Deadline 07/12/2024 Please be advised that only the 8(a) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) Contractors primarily in the Hampton Roads Area of Virginia NAVFAC MID-ATLANTIC (Contract Nos. N4008523D0030/0031/0032/0033/0034/0035/0036/0037/0038 and N4008524D0052) can provide a proposal for this project, A-58 Replace Roof and Repair Interior, Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia. Contractor must provide supervision, labor, material, and equipment required to perform all work for the following project: to replace the existing roofing, mold remediation, and interior repairs located at building A-58. Refer to section 7 of the Executable Scope (Attachment A), Project Overview and Work Requirements, for additional information. Estimated Budget Amount or Price Range: In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Time for completion: Contract completion date is 180 calendar days. The days are calculated from date of task order award, which includes the initial 15 days allowed for distribution of the task order award, submission and approval of insurance, bonding and other requirements set forth in the task order/MACC. Task order award is considered notice to proceed. Pre-Propsal Inquiries (PPIs): Offerors who determine that the technical and or contractual requirements of this RFP require clarification(s) in order to permit submittal of a responsive proposal shall submit all questions in writing. PPIs must be submitted in writing to Jake Busila at jacob.a.busila.civus.navy.mil with a cc to Rachel Honecker at rachel.n.honecker.civus.navy.mil. The cutoff for PPIs is 14 days prior to proposal due date in order to process all inquiries by the proposal due date. Additionally, all inquiries shall be submitted using the Pre-Proposal Inquiry (PPI) form (Attachment E). Do not submit the same inquiry more than once. Please verify that inquiries submitted by you on behalf of your subcontractors are not duplicates. A response will be published via an amendment to https://sam.gov/ and https://piee.eb.mil/. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
