The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for the Rehabilitation of the Exterior of the Utility Building and Maintenance Garage, Birch Hill Dam, Royalton, MA. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnishing all equipment, materials, labor and transportation necessary for exterior rehabilitation in accordance with the Statement of Work. This is a request for offers at this time. The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date are included within the solicitation. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access www.SAM.gov. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a Small Business Size Standard of $45 Million. ALL OFFERORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY OFFEROR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON-RESPONSIVE. *PLEASE DIRECT QUESTIONS TO ANN MURPHY ADLEY AT (978) 318-8255 or ANN.M.ADLEY@USACE.ARMY.MIL. ANY INFORMATION RECEIVED AT THE SITE VISIT WHICH CONFLICTS WITH THIS SOLICITATION SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF ANN MURPHY ADLEY. THE SOLICITATION AND RESULTING CONTRACT SHALL BE THE GOVERNING DOCUMENT IN ALL CASES. Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to rehabilitate the exterior of two buildings at the Birch Hill Dam Project. The two buildings are referred to as the Utility Building and the Maintenance Garage. A component of this rehabilitation includes proper removal and disposal of items that contain lead paint. These items are associated with the Utility Building and listed below. a. Degraded vinyl siding. b. Clapboards, corner boards, and trim. c. Insulation. d. Garage doors and entry door casings and associated trim. e. Window casings and associated trim. f. Overhead garage doors. The Utility Building rehabilitation work includes the removal and disposal of existing exterior entry doors, existing overhead garage doors including tracks and motors, windows, degraded clapboards, rigid foamboard insulation, vinyl siding, and trim on the 66 ft. x 24 ft single-story building. The contractor shall properly install new exterior entry doors, new overhead garage doors, tracks, and motors, windows, framing, insulation, plywood sheathing, house wrap, rigid foam insulation, vinyl siding, and vinyl trim as a requirement for the exterior rehabilitation of the Utility Building. The Maintenance Garage rehabilitation work includes removal and disposal of existing degraded framing, existing entry door, existing overhead garage doors and tracks, windows, vinyl siding, foam board insulation, and trim on the 51ft. x 25 ft. single story building. The Contractor shall install new framing, entry door, overhead garage doors with tracks, windows, house wrap, rigid foam insulation, vinyl siding, and vinyl trim as a requirement for the exterior rehabilitation of the Maintenance Garage. Location-The Utility Building is located at the Birch Hill Dam, 68 Birch Hill Dam Road in Royalston, MA, 01368. MBE (1.6%), WBE (6.9%), SBE (100%) The estimated cost of the work is between $100,000 and $250,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
