Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New Bern, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
The project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work required to satisfactorily complete the Access Road project which consists of construction of a 22 wide access road to the future Aerospace Development site. Items of work include erosion control, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, drainage pipe installation, grading, aggregate base course, and bituminous surface course. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, a deposit of cash or by a certified check payable to Coastal Carolina Regional Airport Authority, and drawn on some bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of North Carolina, for an amount equal to 5% of the total base bid, Regulations of the Office of the Secretary of Transportation, to subcontract 13.5% of the dollar value of the prime contract for each project or schedule of work to Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) The Coastal Carolina Regional Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted and directed to Talbert & Bright in writing, by e-mail tbiilm@tbiilm.com or by fax at (910) 762-6281; proper reference to this Request for Bids is required. The deadline for submitting questions is 5:00 pm on July 12, 2024.
