The DOLA (EIAF 9720) Meter Replacement - Phase I project is located in Eaton, Colorado. The project will involve the installation of approximately 277 water meter pits and water meters assemblies in the right-of-way of homeowners that currently have water meters installed within the residence within the HUD boundary. Funding for this project is provided by the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA (EIAF 9720) and project budget is $1,400,000. Question Deadline 03/19/2025 at 5:00 PM MT Questions and Clarifications shall be submitted to Brad Curtis, P.E. eaton@epsgroupinc.com Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % All bid proposals must be on the form provided and must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Town of Eaton negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactorily Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid. Checks accompanying bids not accepted will be returned to the bidders. The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance Bond and a 100% Contract Payment Bond to cover the execution of the Work which shall be in conformity with the Form of Bonds contained in the Specifications and for the Contract Amount. No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids without the consent of the Town of Eaton, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of opening bids. The Town of Eaton reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids, and to accept the bid that, in the opinion of the Town of Eaton, is in the best interests of the Town of Eaton.
