Renovation of an educational facility in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Phase 1 and Phase 2 consist of the replacement of all domestic water piping on campus, the replacement of the northern campus electrical loop, new fiber pathways, and the erection of a new radio tower. Phase 3 will consist of the completion of the construction for the southern campus electrical loop, individual building BFP installation, buildout of the CEP plant infrastructure, and the addition of ITC (Welcome Center), Burnim Fine Arts Center, and the Gilchrist Education Center to the southern electrical loop, and the replacement of underground mechanical vaults. As of March 17, 2026, the construction manager has been selected. Construction is likely underway.
