The contractor will furnish all materials, labor, supervision, and other necessary incidentals to remove and dispose of 8 windows at the Hubbard Brook Pierce Lab; install 8 new vinyl windows; and optionally repair a section of flooring in the conference area and/or replace carpeting. The NRS Hubbard Brook Pierce Lab Window Replacement project shall consist of the removal and legal disposal
of eight existing windows, frames, and components on the Pierce Lab. After removal, the work shall also include
the installation of new energy efficient vinyl casement windows, frames, and other items associated with a
watertight window installation.
There is a bid option (Option A) for replacement of approximately 128 square feet of damaged subfloor sheathing
in the conference room of the Pierce Lab building.
There is a bid option (Option B) for the removal of the existing carpeting system in the conference room of the
Lab Pierce building and installation of approximately 1700 square feet of new carpet tiles. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000 for all base and option items combined.
