Demolition and site work for a residential development in Sharon, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 15-unit residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Each Bid Proposal Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond, in Form of a Certified Check or Corporate Surety Bid Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid Proposal Made in Favor of the City of Sharon. Performance, Labor, and Material Men's Bonds of 100% and Maintenance Bonds of 50% With Good and Sufficient Surety Will Be Required as Noted in the Instructions to Bidders, to Be Filed Within Ten (10) Days of Contract Award. No Bid or Any Part Thereof Shall Be Withdrawn by the Bidder for a Period of Sixty (60) Days From the Date of Opening of Bids for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Qualifications of Bidders Prior to Awarding of the Contract. In No Event Will the City of Sharon Consider a Contractor as Eligible if S/he Cannot Initiate the Work Under the Contract Within Thirty (30) Days of the Contract Execution and Proceed to the Successful Completion of the Work Within Ninety (90) Consecutive Calendar Days of the Notice to Proceed. Attention is Called to the Fact That the Contractor Must Ensure That Employees, Independent Contractors, and Applicants for Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Their Race, Color, Religious Creed, Handicap, Ancestry, National Origin, Age, or Sex. The Contractor, in Accordance With the Executive Order 11625 and 12138 Must Utilize to the Greatest Extent Feasible Minority and/or Women-owned Business Concerns Which Are Located Within the Municipality, County, or the General Trade Area. The Bidder Must Submit Documentary Evidence of Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises Who Have Been Contacted and to Whom Commitments Have Been Made. Failure to Submit the Required Documents Will Result in the Bid Being Rejected as Non-responsive. **Document Notes: Bids Must Be Submitted on Prescribed Forms Furnished by the City of Sharon and Completed in Strict Accordance With Instructions Provided. The City of Sharon is seeking bids for the demolition and clearance of fourteen (14) residential dwellings and two (2) garages. This project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant Entitlement, awarded to Sharon, Pennsylvania and the General Fund
