The Work consists of: repairing and grading eroded banks, installing rock slope protection including geogrid, installing willow stakes, and planting. Work shall be performed at one site along Line G-1-1 (Site 913) and two sites along Line B (Sites 914 and 915) in Pleasanton, California as shown on the drawings. Site 913 is an approximately 120-foot long segment of eroded right bank of Line G-1-1, adjacent to a DSRSD wastewater treatment plant. Sites 914 and 915 are eroded banks that span approximately 155 and 140 feet, respectively, of Arroyo De Laguna. A staging area is available at each site, as shown on the plans. The successful Bidder must comply with all prevailing wage laws applicable to the Project, and related requirements contained in the Contract Documents. Pursuant to applicable provisions of the Labor Code, the District has implemented and shall enforce a Labor Compliance Program (LCP) for the Work. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with all the requirements of the District's LCP and applicable provisions of the California Labor Code. In bidding on the Work, it shall be each Bidder's responsibility to evaluate the cost of complying with the District's LCP. Bidders shall include all costs of compliance with specified requirements in their bids. A Notice to Proceed with Work is subject to receipt of all regulatory permits. Therefore, all heavy equipment in-channel work and implementation of erosion control may be performed during the two construction seasons of May 1, 2024 - October 31, 2024 and May 1, 2025 - October 31, 2025, or as directed by the Project Engineer. Work may not commence at any site unless all work can be completed within the same construction season. Final Completion of this Project shall be completed by December 16, 2025 District specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, or re-bid, or to waive inconsequential deviations from Bid requirements not involving time, price, or quality of the Work.
