Demolition and site work for a residential development in Xenia, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The property located at 147 Hill Street, Xenia, is potentially subject to the State of Ohio Prevailing Wage. Asbestos evaluations are pending for the Hill St. and S. Detroit St. properties in Xenia and for the E. Xenia St. property in Jamestown. The asbestos evaluations will be added to the bid packets as soon as they are received, which will be a minimum of one week prior to the bid due date. Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the projects known as: 147 Hill St., Xenia, OH 422 S. Detroit St., Xenia, OH 108 Pearl St., Fairborn, OH 71 E. Xenia St., Jamestown, OH Each bidder must furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond per Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security given in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that the demolition portion of the project be completed no later than April 1, 2025, with completion of lot re-grading and seeding by April 15, 2025. Additionally, the attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the Contract Documents and on the plans, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions, including various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. One project is potentially subject to the State of Ohio Prevailing Wage: 147 Hill Street, Xenia, OH. State prevailing wage rates are subject to change at any time. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner Rights: The Greene County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the bidder who, in their consideration, offered the lowest and best proposal
