Site work for a civil project in Richmond, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of August 5, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Town of Richmond reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, in part or in whole, and to award the work in part or whole, at its sole discretion All individuals and firms providing public works construction services to the Town shall comply with the prevailing wage requirements and all other requirements of Title 37, Chapter 13 of the Rhode Island General Laws. Replace existing vent screen with a new, non-corrodible metal screen having 24-mesh. Installation of a Flapper Gate or duckbill valve on the overflow piping Installation of concrete splash pad or rip rap 12-24 below the bottom of the overflow piping per EPA/AWWA Requirements. Remove the existing temporary repair done on the hatch of the tank (Figure 3) and install a permanent repair that will seal and secure the hatch opening from contaminants. Replace existing vent screen with a new, non-corrodible metal screen having 24-mesh. Installation of a Flapper Gate or duckbill valve on the overflow piping Modifying existing hatch to add provisions for a pad lock.
