The City of West Haven (the "City") is soliciting proposals from qualified environmental consulting firms to perform a series of environmental assessments. This project includes a limited Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and Subsurface Investigation to investigate possible contamination due to historical off-site operations and PFAS groundwater testing at North End Field (1101 Campbell Avenue and Baggott Street Playground), a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) on the adjacent parcel at 965-967 First Avenue. The goal is to determine the extent of possible soil and groundwater contamination and evaluate the impacts of historical activities on the properties. All questions regarding this request for proposal should be directed by email to Kathy Chambers, Senior Buyer Procurement Analyst, City of West Haven, at kchambers@westhaven-ct.gov. The request for information deadline is noon Monday, July 1, 2024. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposal process, and to accept any proposal that it deems to be in the best interest of the City.. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
