This project is to be constructed at the Platte County Public Works Facility at 15955 Highway 273, Platte City, Missouri 64079. The scope of work shall consist of but not limited to the cleaning, prep work, and roof surface coating restoration. Proposals shall include the following: 1. Design/Build Statement of qualifications 2. Outline Specifications 3. Cost Proposal, indicating the cost of the site work and materials used 4. Construction schedule. Additional information may be submitted with the proposal which the contractor believes will further clarify or enhance the proposal. By virtue of statutory authority, preference shall be given to materials, products, supplies, provisions and other articles, produced, manufactured, made or grown within the State of Missouri, where same are of a suitable character and can be obtained at reasonable market prices in the State and are a quality suited to the purpose intended and can be secured without additional cost over foreign products or other states. "The County of Platte hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award". Sealed bids must be on forms provided. Completed bids will only be accepted by the Platte County Clerk on or before the specified bid date and time. Bids submitted late will be returned unopened to the bidder. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 10% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Platte County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No second tier subcontracting will be allowed in this project. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.
