Demolition, site work and renovation of a residential development in Rock Island, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for the renovation of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

Rehabilitation Project at a House. Scope of Work The bidder shall submit a project plan using the design standards below that is in compliance with all applicable HUD, EPA, and State of Illinois regulations as well as all local building and zoning codes. The plan must include a clear project timeline and budget with line item costs. The contractor shall act as the general contractor for the project using subcontractors as required. Subcontractors that will be required should be clearly identified in the project plan. Remove the deck from the front of the house and discard leaving only the concrete slab. Remove the deck on the west side of the home. Install a new treated landing attached to the home at the side door. Landing shall be 4' x 4' with 5/4 flooring. Two frost protected concrete footings will need to be 42" x 12" inspected before poured. Install a set of code compliant stairs and railing coming off the landing. North door ( front door) needs deadbolt work its not operating correctly. The west door is new and appears to be in good condition. However it will need to be taken out and completely reinstalled. The East door will need removed and a new pre-hung steel door will need to be installed with a new storm door. All three exterior doors will need matching locket sets and deadbolts keyed alike. Building permit is required before work starts. The lowest bid shall not automatically guarantee that a contractor will get the work they bid on. Bids shall be reviewed for pricing, experience, previous work history, references, State Licenses, State Registration, insurances, bonds, subcontractors, equipment owned, equipment rented, operator experience, and financial stability. The City at its sole discretion shall decide after a review which contractor, if any, is responsive to the invitation to bid. All bidding and award procedures undertaken by the City in regard to this project shall be consistent with the City's adopted procurement procedures. Submitted bid prices shall remain valid for 60 days after bid opening
