Water System Improvements -Division V, AMR Water Meter Replacement Project The Project includes the following Work: replacement of existing water meters with new AMR/AMI capable water meters, more specifically provide and install +/- 662 - 5/8" X 3 /4" AMR/AMI capable water meters, +/- 12 - 2" AMR/AMI capable water meter, backflow preventer, meter reading equipment, software, licensing, training, GPS Coordinates of Meters, and water meter box with lid. All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to the date of the bid opening - with the exception of the submittal of the Notice of Intent for coverage under the NPDES General Permit to discharge stormwater Associated with Construction Activity. The Contractor shall be responsible for the submittal of the Notice of Intent and payment of all land disturbance fees The City of Rochelle reserves the right to reject any or all bids including without limitation the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids; and to make an award in the best interest of the City of Rochelle. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
