Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Taylorsville, Utah. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

The DABS is currently authorized to design and construct several new stores across the State to meet the public demand. As part of DFCM's efforts to streamline this process and reduce future solicitation schedules, this solicitation will shortlist qualified General Contractors who receive a score of 80 or higher to bid on upcoming new construction DABS Stores. Only those pre-qualified General Contractors will be allowed to bid on DABS new construction stores over the next two-year period from the date of shortlisting announcement. Stage II of this solicitation will include the standard low bidding of these projects by those short-listed General Contractors in Stage I, as design and code review of these projects complete. It should be noted that DABS and DFCM are currently in the process of developing two different DABS store prototype designs that will be implemented on these upcoming projects. Site adaptations and locations may require slight modifications to these prototype designs, however the general footprint and layout should remain consistent. The Stores are typically 12,000 to 13,000 GSF and include but not limited to: retail sales, storage, office, restrooms, conference/training room, break room, lockers, shipping / receiving. Possible future new construction DABS stores include but are not limited to the following locations: Roy, Marriott Slaterville, Moab, Park City, Murry, South Salt Lake, etc. Non residential building construction services including commercial and office building new construction services and construction services and renovation and repair services Unique Requirements: - The initial pre-qualification will be for two (2) calendar years from the shortlisting announcement. If it is determined after the initial time frame that the value and performance of the prequalification list is a benefit to the State. The pre-qualification could be renewed for an additional year. - DFCM will provide a past performance rating at the completion of each project. For a shortlisted general contractor to remain on the list, the general contractor will need to receive a score of 4.5 or higher. If a shortlisted general contractor receives a past performance rating on a new contrition DABS project lower than 4.5, then that general contractor will be removed from the shortlisting group. As such, the general contractor receiving a score of 4.5 or less will not be allowed to participate on future DABS new construction stores that come up for bid under this agreement. Construction Cost Estimate: Will vary by store DFCM is entering into a Multi-Step Bidding Process for New Construction Services. A short-listing of Contractors will be based on the evaluation of proposals submitted and the selection criteria outlined in the solicitation documents contained herein. Short-listed Contractors will be invited to submit bids on the project. Only Contractors allowed to bid on upcoming new construction DABS store projects will be those Contractors short-listed by the selection committee. All Contractors responding to this procurement must comply with and require all of their Subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah.
