Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Galax, Virginia. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

As of July 18, 2024, project is canceled. No definite date for rebid. The City of Galax is seeking sealed bids from a qualified contractor to install perimeter fencing for four pickleball courts at Felts Park at 601 S Main St. Galax, VA 24333. Please review the Scope of Work section for details. o The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, and necessary permits and licenses to perform/complete work described herein. o Pickleball courts shall have fencing around full perimeter of court surface that is black-coated chain link fencing. o Fencing shall include two entry doors: one double-gate entrance door and one single-gate entrance door on opposite sides of the perimeter. o Fencing shall be 8-feet in height. o Fencing shall be inside of perimeter of asphalt. Holes shall be core drilled through concrete. o Work to begin on October 14th and be completed by October 18th. The bidder shall indicate any conflict with this timeline in their bid submission.
