City: Burbank County: Walla Walla State/Province: WA Site Directions: Lat: 46.163215, Long: -118.932996 From the intersection of US Route 12. and Ivarson Rd., head north along Ivarson Rd. for 1.3 miles, turn to west and follow the gravel road down the hill for 300 ft to the pumping plant. The proposed project will involve the removal of the existing manifold and concrete encasement and the construction of a new manifold and concrete encasement. Removed material will be hauled to a District Material Site, 18 miles away. The new manifold will consist of (4) 12" pump discharge lines that converge into (1) 30" discharge line. There will be a 30" flow meter added into the new manifold. The new manifold will connect to the existing pump discharges with new compression couplers and connect to an existing 30" RCP pipeline with a 30" x 37" compression coupler. A new concrete encasement will be poured around the new manifold, along with new concrete pipe supports. Est. Completion Date: March 1, 2025 Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by bid security as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the additional bonds prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to submit a bid on public work, bidders and their subcontractors shall hold such licenses and registrations as required by state statutes and codes and federal and local laws and regulations. The project is a public works construction projects to be paid by public funds; therefore, the minimum prevailing wage rates, published by the State Department of Labor and Industries, are required. Following the bid opening, all bids will be tabulated, checked and evaluated by the District's staff and Engineer. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities as informalities in said bids.
