As of October 31, 2024, project was awarded to Cartee Construction and Utilities, awarded amount is $1,483,574.26 The Project includes the following Work: o Installation of approximately 2,670 linear feet (LF) of gravity sewer pipe in various diameters: - 8-inch diameter pipe - 12-inch diameter pipe - 15-inch diameter pipe o Construction of 14 precast concrete manholes. o Installation of a 24-inch steel casing using jack and bore method to cross under the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) right-of-way without disrupting traffic. o Demolition of two existing lift stations o Removal and replacement of existing pavement sections impacted by construction activities. o Installation of a new asphaltic concrete overlay along Ramble Road. o Installation of three grinder pump systems to collect wastewater from areas with limited gravity flow. o Installation of approximately 400 LF of 2-inch diameter low-pressure force main to convey wastewater from the grinder pumps to the gravity sewer system. o Miscellaneous task such as excavation, backfilling, traffic control, and any other necessary work to complete the project The Project has an expected duration of 240 days
