**As of August 19, 2024 , This project has been awarded to Sikes Brothers Inc for $3,395,644.92.** The project is located along Two Chop Road from Rocky Ford Road to US Highway 25 for a total length of 3.052 miles and along Banks Creek Church Road from Two Chop Road to just north of the Banks Creek Church property for a total length of 0.457 miles. Project scope consists of clearing and grubbing operations, coordination and relocation of existing utilities, grading & earthwork operations, drainage work, subgrade construction, graded aggregate base construction, and asphalt paving work. The project shall commence 15 calendar days after the County's issuance of Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion of the work and certification of same no later than April 30, 2026 and shall achieve Final Acceptance of the work and certification of same no later than June 30, 2026. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive technicalities, informalities, and minor immaterial defects associated with the bid, making the award that is deemed to be in the best interest of the County Deadline to submit questions July 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM EDT
