Described roof services: Courthouse Roof Replacement: Remove all existing steel trim, membrane, flashings and stucco from doghouse vents. Replace with a new fully adhered 60 mil EPDM roof with a 15-year warranty. Replace any existing insulation with like and kind. Install Polyiso %" board. Install new drain sleeves in existing drains. Install %" green treated plywood over exposed doghouse vents and new galvanized vents on both houses. Wrap doghouse with 60 mil EPDM fully adhered. Install 60 mill membrane across roof over walls terminating using 24-gauge prefinished metal. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities, and to accept the bid, which they deem to be in the best interest of Sanborn County. Summary of the Work Project Summary 1) The Contractor will furnish all labor, materials and equipment for the removal of the old roofing membrane, trim and dispose of. Install a minimum of new IsoGuard 80psi or more over entire roof deck; install new fully adhered 60 mill EPDM, install new screened vents on both dog house vent boxes and cover with 1/2 IsoGaurd fastened over both boxes and fully wrapped remaining dog house with 60 mil EPDM, install new edge metal, install new preformed flashings and obey all manufacturer specifications. 2) The owner of the project: Sanborn County, 604 W 6th St, Woonsocket SD 57385 3) Construction Contract A. The owner will award a single construction contract for the project; B. The contract form shall be signed by the owner and the contractor. 4) Completion Time A. The successful bidder may commence work in 2024 as soon as weather permits. The contractor shall coordinate this project with any functions involving the facility so as not to disrupt normal activities. The project needs to be completed within 45 days of the start date. The project shall be substantially completed by October 1, 2024
