Renovation of an educational facility in Woonsocket, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Woonsocket School Gymnasium HVAC Improvements Each bid must contain a Certified Check, a Cashier's Check or Draft for five percent (5%) of the amount of the total bid items, such Check or Draft to be certified or issued by either a State or National Bank, and payable to the School District, or in lieu thereof, a Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, such Bid Bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the state and payable to the School District. Said Certified Check, Draft or Bid Bond guarantees the execution of a contract and shall be held by the School District until said contract is executed. All bids and contracts shall be made in accordance with, and subject to SDCL 5-18A, 5-21, 5-22 and the provisions set forth in the specifications. The School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a contract performance bond and a payment bond in the penal amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price in a form approved by the School District, dated and executed the same date as the contract documents to comply with statutory requirements, in accordance with SDCL 5-21. There will NOT be a formal pre-bid meeting for this project.
